Questions

Before you open the file.

Is any of this real?

No. Every case, character and event is fictional, written for the game. The crimes exist only inside Crimeveil.

How long does a case last?

Seven days. Evidence is released over the week, so a few minutes a day is enough — there is no need to be online at a set hour.

Who are the suspects?

AI-driven fictional characters. Each one only knows what their character would know, keeps their own secrets and may lie to you.

Can the AI change the solution?

Never. The truth of every case is sealed before day one. The AI plays the characters; it cannot rewrite what happened.

How is my theory scored?

Against the sealed solution and a fixed rubric: culprit, motive, method and the evidence you cite. Results are published when the case closes.

Which languages can I play in?

English and Portuguese. Pick yours in the menu at the top; it is saved in your profile, so cases, challenges and the suspects' answers follow it.

What does it cost?

Creating an account is free. You need one to see announcements and to join an investigation when it opens.
